A psychological evaluation is a set of assessment procedures admnistered by a licensed psychologist. It involves the integration of information from multiple sources, such as psychological tests, observations, personal and medical history, and descriptions of current symptoms to determine the presence of an emotional or behavioral condition (e.g., depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder or ADHD, etc.). Data is compiled into a psychological report that can be used for disability documentation or for development of a treatment plan.
